Today you are going to explore some aspects of our new book. You are going to work at your own pace and may re-listen to listening activities or re-watch videos to help answer questions if needed.

Please return to this page when an activity is complete so you can read the directions for the next step!

Before beginning put your name on the top right of both packets!!!! You will hand in these packets at the end of class today regardless of how far you got!

1. First, you are going to watch the video for chapter one of the next book. As you watch the video, you are going to complete pages 43-45 of your packet entitled "Unité 1 - Viewing Activities." You should read the directions of the exercises before watching the video so you know what you are listening for. It is a good idea to re-watch the video each time you do a new exercise separately as you are listening for very specific information. Remember it is not a bad thing to listen to the same thing more than once because you are learning pronunciation. Go to the link below, click on Unité 1, Click on Videos, then click on Videos, Unité 1. Watch the video as many times as you need to.

2. After completing pages 43-45 in the packet for the videos, you will be doing some more listening practice using the second packet that says "Salut! Ça va?" n the top right of it and "Listening Activities" on the bottom center of the packet. You will be doing pages 1-2. You may listen to the sound files as many times as you need to.

Go to the link below (or return to the page you opened previously for the book) and click on "unité 1". Then click on "Listening Activities". DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE FILES! Instead, click on each audio link for each activity separately.

Then, you will need to copy and paste the page into a google document that you title as "your name-French Internet Activity- January 18" and share with me. If you are unsure how to do this, you may ask a classmate. To copy you higlight the text you want to copy and click "Command C" and to paste you click "Command V".
